Every KTMC deserves a pat in the back...

I am more than happy to see the equal attendance of KTMC and guests last meeting. It was so far the best ever attended regular meeting. What with almost member brought a friend/guest/s with them, not mentioning the raffle {imported unsweetened marsmallow chocolate} courtesy of TM Mona Magayanes.
Congratulations to TM Mona Magayanes for giving a splendid manual project num 3 entitled "A MATTER OF TIME", to TM Remie Recoter for her "DESTINED TO BE" Icebreaker and the most applauded and entertaining MP No 4 of TM Cynthia dela Cruz entitled "GROWING OLD GRACEFULLY". In general, all the speakers were excellent and born speaker. KTMC proud of you guys.
Welcome baby toastmaster Niki Stone of Denver Mile High Colorado, a US Peace Corps Volunteer who signed up in her first guesting with KTMC to membership to Toastmasters, and other guests who came and promised to sign next time. We are looking forward to seeing all of you more next meeting.

We missed you...

I had a surprised visitors as soon as I stepped on the house after our regular meeting last time..guess who? Iloilo Exutive Toastmasters/Hablon Toastmasters members came over to supposedly attend our meeting, unfortunately, they got lost on the road and ended in my place he he he It was a short but fun conversation with DTM Naz Rufon and other three beautiful toastmasters with him.
Well, what a shame guys you missed our well attended meeting but hope you will come back again next time, but please please make sure I get a tex from you before you start on the road to Kalibo ha ha ha

Update on New Meeting Schedule

Please be guided accordingly with the new KTMC meeting schedule. It was agreed last meeting to have a new schedule because some members have conflict on Saturdays. Instead of the old schedule 1st and 3rd Saturdays, hereunder is the new schedule:

2nd and 4th FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH

KTMC HURAYYYY..

Great news today:

Clap, clap, clap to TM Cynthia, TM Botoy, TM Buddy for passing MP Number 3, TM Mona for MP Number 2, standing ovation and most applauded TM Cecile for her ICE BREAKER.
Congratulations to TM Mario and TM Buddy for winning the raffle of one each fruit bearing seedlings {Lanzones} courtesy of TM Remie.
Welcome TM Judith Tindog, our newest member yet to be registered soon to T.I. Her mentor and sponsor is VP Mem TM Cynthia {her 3rd guests who came and visited the club regular meeting to sign as new member, splendid work TM Cythia, according to her, "kina-career ko na pagiging VP Mem Toastmasters."
During the successful club meeting last night, KTMC will open a bank account to deposit remaining financial on hand to the nominated bank, Club Goals were discussed by CL Megs Lunn and reminder of October 1 TM dues to T.I.
Please attend August 20 regular meeting, speaker: CL Megs Lunn on EVALUATE TO MOTIVATE, special request topic by KTMC members. We will have two speakers to speak on MP 3: TM Mona and MP 1: TM Remie.
We are inviting Toastmasters from Iloilo and Bacolod to help TM Megs do the evaluation. We will offer our guest room for you and rambutan fruits of TM Botoy are waiting for you...DG Emily, aabut ka pa this end of August hehehe

Kalantiao TMC Attends Club Management Seminar

Dr. Ambrosio R. Villorente, Charter Pres of the Kalantiao Toastmasters Club led delegates to the Toastmasters International District 75 Division D Club Management Training. The seminar was held on July 24, 2005 at West Visayas State University Medical Center Conference Hall, Iloilo City.
The Club Management Seminar is the 1st Round of Division D, District 75 schedule of trainings for the Toastmasters Year 2005-2006. District 75 Governor, Advanced Toastmasters-Gold Elisa G. Tay of Davao City Toastmasters Club spearheaded the seminar. “She is a pharmacist by profession, a travel agent by vocation, a baker by avocation, a Rotarian by affiliation, a Toastmaster by dedication, a mother by ambition, and a wife by frustration”.
Lt. Governor for education and Training Distinguished Toastmaster Alan S. Olmilla of San Miguel Mandaue Toastmasters Club discussed club membership recruitment and retention and membership advancement. Olmilla is the 3 time San Miguel Toastmasters club proxy and known for his miguelito jokes. A devoted Toastmaster, husband and father rolled into one”. Another speaker is Lt. Governor for Marketing Toastmaster Gina S. Mapua of Executive Toastmasters Club, Makati City. “She is the quintessential Toastmasters of District 75, the best cook in town and one of the best examples of a true toastmaster, her actions speaks more of her, a good motivator, bubbly and witty toastmaster. She is a woman of versatility and eloquence”.
Division D Governor, Competent Toastmaster Emily Go-Villanueva discussed the Toastmasters program for Panay and Negros Occ. Her theme this Toastmasters Year is “Energize, Excite, Excel”. She is a member of First Farmers Toastmasters Club, Silay City, Negros Occidental. CTM Emily is an entrepreneur. “She envisions seeing the toastmaster members to bring back energy to each club to achieve educational and leadership goals, and recruit new members.” Through her will excite friends and neighbors in the community and make Toastmasters International excel as an organization.
Other delegates of KTMC-Kalibo were VP Membership TM Cynthia dela Cruz, VP Public Relation TM Mario Balandra, Secretary TM Lina Ramirez, Treasurer TM Rosela Senatin, TM Ramona Magayanes, TM Buddy Balleza, and Mentor CTM/CL Megs S. Lunn. The Toastmasters from Iloilo Executive TMC, Hablon TMC and Professionals TMC Iloilo City also attended the seminar.
The Club Website {www.toastmasters.org} was introduced by Division D Governor Emily Go-Villanueva. The “THE MORE, THE MERRIER” Successful Club Membership Building topic was discussed by Lt. Gov. Marketing Gina Mapua. Lt. Governor Education and Marketing DTM Alan S. Olmilla presented “THE E.A.G.L.E. topic and District 75 Governor ATM-G Elisa G. Tay inspired the delegates with her District theme, “LINK TO INSPIRE.” She further said, “I am inspired by our past and equally passionate about our future, but our todays provides the link between both ages. Last year, we BUILT BRIDGES and build we did, with a burning passion, this year we shall continue building bridges, as we journey across these bridges let us “LINK TO INSPIRE.”
